I gave this Mizuno JPX 925 Hot Metal Pro 5 iron a go and found it more forgiving than the KBS version. The True Temper DG Mid 100 R300 shaft is smooth and helps launch the ball high. The head shape is clearly game-improvement, with a larger profile that inspires confidence. However, the feel is a bit muted—less feedback than I'd like. For $165, it's a solid iron if you need forgiveness, but the R300 flex might be too soft for aggressive swingers.
