About this product
This Strata by Callaway bundle includes a 7 iron and a 9 iron, both right-handed with regular flex steel shafts and training grips. The carbon steel blade heads offer a classic look and feel. Priced under $25, it's an inexpensive way to get two irons for practice or as replacements.
Our take
For the price, you can't beat getting two irons. The carbon steel blades have a nice traditional feel, and the training grips are noticeably thicker, which helped me work on my grip pressure. However, these are clearly entry-level clubs—the shafts feel a bit whippy, and the blade shape offers little forgiveness. The red color scheme is unusual but not distracting. Expect solid feedback on mishits, but don't expect the same performance as modern game-improvement irons. If you're a beginner on a tight budget or need a spare set for practice, these will do. Just don't expect premium quality.
